sensorProbe8 is a standalone product, with no external software to install. It’s a platform independent environmental and security monitoring device. As with other AKCP AKCess Pro products it is fully SNMP compliant and compatible with a wide range of our intelligent sensors. A maximum of 8 sensors can be connected using the intelligent sensor ports. Integrating with the dual temperature and humidity sensor gives a maximum of 16 datapoints.
With a Linux like Operating System, including a TCP/IP stack, web server and SNMP functionality the sensorProbe8 provides a complete network enabled monitoring system.

Notifications and record keeping
Being kept up to date and alerted to changes in environmental or security conditions is vital in mission critical situations. The sensorProbe8 has facility to send E-mail or SNMP trap notifications. SMS is also supported by use of a third party gateway. Notifications are easy to configure using the web interface. Set the thresholds for the sensor parameters and when the maximums are exceeded receive instant alerts.
